Summer School: An Introduction to Careers in Environmental Policy

Each summer the ELI Summer School Series teaches summer law clerks and interns about the legal foundations of environmental protection in the United States. On May 28, 2009, ELI hosted an introductory seminar to expose participants to the myriad possible career applications of this knowledge. This year’s panel represented the spectrum of parties working in environmental policy and included Russ LaMotte (Beveridge & Diamond PC), Seema Kakade (U.S. Environmental Protection Agency), Colin O’Brien (Natural Resources Defense Council), Monty Cooper (Wallace King Domike & Reiskin, PLLC), and Jessica Troell (Environmental Law Institute).
